چکیده
This study used a hydrothermal approach to create sensitive and focused nanoprobe. Using an “on-off-on” sensing mechanism, the nanoprobe was employed detect quantify ferric ions L-ascorbic acid. Synthesis of carbon quantum dots achieved with single step at 180°C for 24 hours using hot pepper as starting material. The prepared CQDs showed high fluorescence yield 30% when excited 350 nm, exhibiting excitation-dependent fluorescence. emission can be quenched by adding ions, which attributed complex formation leading nonradiative photoinduced electron transfer (PET). Adding acid, convert into ferrous break complex, restore CQD. linear range LOD were (10–90) ?M 1 respectively, acid’s (5–100) while 0.1 quantification both substances accomplished. In addition, orange fruit actual sample source ascorbic acid analysis, yielding up 99% recovery.

A unique "turn-on" fluorescence signalling strategy for highly specific detection of ascorbic acid using carbon dots as sensing probe.
Carbon dots (CDs) that showed strong blue fluorescence were successfully synthesised from sodium alginate via furnace pyrolysis. The single step pyrolytic synthesis was simple to perform while yielded CDs with high photostability, good water solubility and minimum by-products. In order to design the probe with "turn-on" sensing capability, the CDs were screened against a series of metal cations...
متن کاملHydrogen peroxide sensing based on carbon quantum dots
In this work, carbon quantum dots (CQDs) have been synthesized by one step hydrothermal method to detect hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). The optical H2O2 sensors were based on the fluorescent quenching of the carbon quantum dots. The optical H2O2 sensors demonstrate capable of detecting H2O2 over the range of 0-88.2 mM and 0-60 mM. The H2O2 sensitivities of wavelength shift to changes in the H2O2 con...

متن کاملCarbon Quantum Dots for Zebrafish Fluorescence Imaging
Carbon quantum dots (C-QDs) are becoming a desirable alternative to metal-based QDs and dye probes owing to their high biocompatibility, low toxicity, ease of preparation, and unique photophysical properties. Herein, we describe fluorescence bioimaging of zebrafish using C-QDs as probe in terms of the preparation of C-QDs, zebrafish husbandry, embryo harvesting, and introduction of C-QDs into e...
متن کاملLuminescence turn-on/off sensing of biological iron by carbon dots in transferrin.
Iron is a key nutrient as well as a potential toxin for almost all living organisms. In mammalian cells, serum transferrin (Tf) is responsible for iron transport and its iron overload/deficiency causes various diseases. Therefore, closely regulated iron homeostasis is extremely essential for cellular metabolism. In the present article we report the pH-dependent luminescence turn-on/off sensing ...
